Introduce of New WBA check App (Bearing Authentication application)

Since June 2019, we have started to add a unique QR-code (special 2D barcode) to verify the KOYO branded bearing authenticity by scanning the QR-code found on the individual box label via the WBA Check app.

１．Launch WBA Check app and Scan QR code

Start the new WBA Check app (WBA Bearing Authenticator) provided by JTEKT.
Download the WBA App at free from here

Tap “scan code” on the app, then read the compatible QR-code founded on each individual box label with your mobile.

２．See the validation result on the screen.

①Valid code (GREEN)

This is a valid code of the JTEKT（Koyo）.
You can use our product with safety and confidence

②Over Scanned and Doubtful code (YELLOW)

This code is in the JTEKT data base, but the number of scans exceeded the allowed limit.
This might be a counterfeit product.

Please contact authorized JTEKT distributor for assistance.

③Counterfeit or Fake Bearing code (RED)

The code of JTEKT you checked was not found in the data base.
Please fill out a “Counterfeit report” to inform the manufacturer.

３．Download WBA Check App

The easiest way to verify your products is via the WBA Check app, available for free at Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
